I thank you for your letter of January 26th, which was addressed to me at the office of Messrs. Mitchell Engineering Limited.

I am very interested in your suggestion that I might advise the Government of Hong Kong on a scheme for treatment of the nightsoil and garbage by methods which will produce a compost fertiliser.

I see no reason why my services should not be made available for this project and I shall be pleased to discuss
